I was born in India where I earned my BS. While getting my BS I went to evening school and took a two-year child psychology course. I then married in 1978 and moved to the United States and settled in Tacoma, Washington. I currently live in Gig Harbor. My husband is an Anesthesiol-ogist and we have two great children, my son is a Cardiologist and in private practice in New Jersey.

He is married and has two children a 13 year-old girl and an 11 year-old boy. My daughter is a Biomedical engineer and also earned an MBA and currently working in California at a company called Karat. She is married and has two daughters, one is eight years old and the other is five years old! I always wanted to be a teacher and work with children. All along I was interested in the Montessori system. I obtained my primary Montessori teaching certificate and have been teaching for 31 wonderful years.
