Amy Heyne
Toddler Teacher

Hello, I’m Amy Heyne, and I’m thrilled to be joining Montessori in Motion as the Lead Montessori Toddler Teacher. With over a decade of experience in early childhood education and a deep passion for Montessori principles, I’m eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.

My ECE journey began in 2011, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding child development and fostering growth. I’m currently finishing my primary Montessori certification.

I’ve also studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Cincinnati and hold a CDA in the field.

Outside of work, my life revolves around my three amazing children—Ruby, Phoebe, and Tye—and our beloved pets Georgia, Finn, and Tiggy. Family, both human and furry, is at the core of everything I do. Ruby is pursuing her associate degree in aesthetic sciences, Tye is finishing his undergraduate marketing degree and is planning to attend law school, and Phoebe is an avid dinosaur lover, taekwondo master, and ballerina.

In my free time, I enjoy diving into a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, practicing yoga, and tending to my garden. These passions fuel my dedication to creating enriching experiences for children both inside and out-side the classroom.

As I step into this new role, I’m filled with excitement and a sense of purpose. I can’t wait to share the wonders of Montessori education and inspire a love for learning in my students.
